26-year old Ashik Pradhan completed his course in animation from ARENA ACADEMY with a diploma in Arena Academy Animation Specialist Program in the year 2009 and was soon absorbed in the country’s first Animation Academy, GREEN DRAGON MEDIA as an animator and a teacher. There he worked on many animations, which were screened on Bhutan Broadcasting Services (national television station). Ashik Pradhan lives in Thimphu and now works as a freelance animator.
After high school Kavita Rai joined the ARENA ANIMATION ACADEMY, for her diploma in Arena Animation Specialist Program, one of the leading animation institutes in Asia. Confused about her career choice, she joined the institute for a lark, only to realize that her passion for art reflected in animation.
After graduating, she worked in the country’s first animation institute Green Dragon Media for almost two years as a teacher, animator and a visual editor. Most of her work has been screened on Bhutan Broadcasting Services (national television station).
Kavita Rai currently lives in Thimphu and works in a private production house.
